Welcome to AHI's Vocational School of Hospitality:

African Hospitality Institute (AHI)is dedicated to providing Ugandan youth with competitive job skills and training that will enable them to secure steady, well paying jobs in Uganda. We seek to provide trained and trustworthy employees and future leaders for Uganda.

AHI's Hospitality Training Curriculum:

AHI utilizes a two-year semester-based curriculum that provides classroom instruction, hands-on practicals and mentored opportunities in housekeeping, cooking, serving and customer service. Students also receive training in leadership skills, character development and english language fluency.

Our Approach:

African Hospitality Institute (AHI) insists on high academic and professional standards. We work closely with the student's family to ensure students have their support to complete this program. In addition to hospitality skills, AHI also focuses on personal character development, english language fluency and leadership skills. While many students are supported by overseas sponsors, all students are required to contribute their time maintaining the school and its grounds.
