Thank you for supporting AHI. We wouldn't be able to do this without your steadfast and generous
support. Like all communities, it takes alot of people coming together to make things happen. Your encouragement,
prayers, friendship, visits, service and financial support are what keep me and AHI going! You are so loved and
appreciated! Thank you for being such a tremendous blessing!
What Impact Does My Support Make?
Your prayers and encouragement to keep going when times are tough and spirits low are priceless.
We need your hope and encouragement to push on in the face of poverty, hopelessness, victimization
and the sheer difficulty of living in Africa.
Your gifts of time and expertise are also critically needed. My staff and I
do not have all the expertise needed to run a non-profit and a school. I also cannot physically or
emotionally do all the things that need time and attention. We need you!
And, financially, while our goal is to be able to pay for our day-to-day operating expenses, we
cannot yet do this. And we will likely always need your financial gifts to support the staff salaries, student
tuitions and construction costs. Your financial gifts are allowing us to create a high quality, professional
vocational school and training experience. God is good!
All of these efforts and gifts are about changing lives. AHI is equipping young
Ugandans with the skills to find well paying jobs. In time, they will help their families and their children step
out of poverty and hopelessness. We are also giving Ugandan's a new way of seeing themselves as they shift their
identity from helpless victim to responsible adult, move from despair to hope, rise from from sadness to joyful
laughter, and from followers to leaders in Uganda.
Change is slow. It starts within the heart and minds of young people who can begin to see, and
dream, and build a new future! This is how you are making a difference!
