AHI is blessed to have several knowledgeable and passionate teachers serving at the school. They have worked with
Maggie to develop the curriculum and course materials. They strive to use modern educational methods to keep the
students engaged and learning despite the fact that most of the students have never been in a restaurant or hotel
and struggle with english. They have been incredibly effective and instrumental in the success of
AHI's vocational program.
AHI pays the teacher's salaries each month. These funds come from your general donations and
from FAHI (Friends of AHI) like you who specifically sponsor a teacher. Sponsorships pay for a teacher's salary and
basic living expenses such as clothes, soap, food, books etc. Most of the teachers live on the AHI campus in staff
housing. Teacher sponsorships allows AHI to recruit preofessional, high-quality teachers.

When you sponsor a teacher, you will receive a profile and information about the teacher you
are sponsoring. You will also receive regular notes and updates from the teacher. You decide whether to keep the
sponsorship anonymous or not.
