AHI's Mission and Philosophy:

Our Mission:

African Hospitality Institute (AHI) transforms the lives of at-risk youth in Africa through vocational hospitality training.

AHI offers a two-year vocational hospitality training program that prepares students for the tourist and hospitality industry. This training includes local and international cooking, house keeping, serving, customer service, english language fluency, personal and team leadership and character development. Graduates from this program will be able to find work and better support their families, have hope for a better future, and lift themselves out of poverty.

Who We Are:

AHI is a restorative, global community committed to following Jesus; bringing hope and opportunity through the sacred practice and vocational training of hospitality skills.

AHI is an intentional teaching and training community. The community seeks to help students find hope, renewal and healing in community. We use the power of personal story telling, mentoring, worship and reflection to help students reframe their lives from "hopeless victim" to "responsible leader".

Our Philosophy:

African Hospitality Institute (AHI) promotes the dignity of man, respect for individuals and the freedom to make life choices in a community of grace and peace. AHI is a community vehicle to equip youth with employable skills blended with character development so that graduates will be self-sufficient and healthy, productive members of society.
